Founded by Shayla Johnson\, whose passion for childcare began as a teenager\, Mai'jor Academy offers a "2nd Home For Families\," providing a space where children can learn and grow through play.\n\nShayla Johnson's journey in the childcare industry began eight years ago with an in-home licensed childcare program. The families who entrusted their children to her care in those early years remain a part of the program today\, a testament to the close-knit\, family-oriented atmosphere she has cultivated. "It's been a dream of mine since I was a teenager to open a child care center\," Johnson shared. "Now that dream is becoming a reality\, and it's exciting that the children who have been with me from the start will experience this new chapter alongside me."\n\nThe grand opening event will feature light refreshments\, including hot dogs\, chips\, cookies\, and drinks\, with outdoor seating.
