DESCRIPTION:Join us for our upcoming Safety Council meeting. These monthly meetings take place on the first Thursday of each month at the Neeley Center from 11:30 am to 1 pm. Just a friendly reminder\, members of the safety council are required to attend a minimum of 10 meetings during the fiscal year 2026 to qualify for a rebate on their workers' compensation premium.\n\nTopic of this meeting: 'Become a Workers' Comp Super Hero'\n\nSpeaker: Ken Finley\, Sr. Risk Manager\, V+A Risk Services\n\nKen will cover the purpose\, players and programs in the world of workers' compensation. You will be equipped to enter workers' comp discussions with a good understanding of how this crazy system works here in Ohio.\n\n \n\nKen has been representing employers' interests in the workers' comp arena since 1991. A graduate of the University of Cincinnati\, he has worked as a Risk Manager for V+A Risk Services since 1996. Ken is the first call for many of his clients to strategize next steps when injuries occur and financial forecasting of its premium impact.
