DESCRIPTION:Join us for our upcoming Safety Council meeting. These monthly meetings take place on the first Thursday of each month at the Neeley Center from 11:30 am to 1 pm. Just a friendly reminder\, members of the safety council are required to attend a minimum of 10 meetings during the fiscal year 2026 to qualify for a rebate on their workers' compensation premium.\n\nTopic of this meeting: OSHA Updates\n\n\n\nThe presentation is a general overview of OSHA's mission and operations. Topics will include the top cited standards from 2024\,  current emphasis programs\, updated penalty amounts\, and reporting requirements.\n\n\n\nSpeaker: Derek Campbell\, OSHA Compliance Officer \n\n\n\nDerek Campbell is an industrial hygienist with the Toledo Area OSHA Office with13 years of experience after obtaining a Master of Public Health degree from the University of Toledo in 2012. Over his career\, he has conducted more than 400 inspections in various industries from manufacturing\, grain handling\, to health care facilities.
