DESCRIPTION:Join us for our upcoming Safety Council meeting. These monthly meetings take place on the first Thursday of each month at the Neeley Center from 11:30 am to 1 pm. Just a friendly reminder\, members of the safety council are required to attend a minimum of 10 meetings during the fiscal year 2024 to qualify for a rebate on their workers' compensation premium. \n\n\n\nTopic of this meeting: \n\nThe Importance of stretching in the workplace to prevent injury.\n\n\n\nSpeakers: \n\nMeagan Poole\, MS\, LAT\, ATC\, CMES-ACE\, P.T. Services Rehabilitation\, Inc.\n\nSarah Gillmor\, PTA\n\n\n\nMeagan Poole\, MS\, LAT\, ATC\, CMES-ACE is an experienced professional in athletic training and exercise science. With a Master's degree in Exercise Science from Concordia University Chicago (2020)\, she has been a Licensed Athletic Trainer for 12 years and a Certified Medical Exercise Specialist for 3 years. Meagan graduated from Green High School in 2005 and Mount Union College in 2009. Employed with PT Services for a decade\, she has extensive experience working with pediatric athletes and conducting exercise classes for pediatric\, adult\, and geriatric populations.\n\n\n\nSarah Gillmor\, PTA\, is an experienced therapist with expertise spanning various patient demographics\, including teens to geriatric populations. She graduated from Wynford High School in rural Bucyrus in 1996 and subsequently earned her degree from NC State in Mansfield\, Ohio in 1998. Joining PT Services in 2020\, Sarah brings extensive experience in outpatient physical therapy\, home health\, and long-term care settings. Additionally\, she conducts exercise classes tailored to older adults.
