DESCRIPTION:Join us for our upcoming Safety Council meeting. These monthly meetings take place on the first Thursday of each month at the Neeley Center from 11:30 am to 1 pm. Just a friendly reminder\, members of the safety council are required to attend a minimum of 10 meetings during the fiscal year 2025 to qualify for a rebate on their workers' compensation premium. \n\n\n\nTopic of this meeting: Bloodborne Pathogens\n\n\n\nSpeaker: Tess Todd\, RN\n\nTess Todd is a Registered Nurse and Firelands Corporate Health Center Supervisor. She graduated from Ashland University in 2014 with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and minor in Psychology. She began her career with Fisher-Titus Medical Center in 2012 as a State Tested Nurse Aide. Once she obtained her nursing license she transitioned to her role as an RN. Her background includes medical-surgical\, intensive care\, post-anesthesia care\, and now occupational health with Firelands since 2022. She takes pride in providing care to help treat and prevent occupational related health conditions. When she is not working she is caring for her husband and four boys\, ages 9\, 7\, 6\, and 3.
