She is a graduate of Tiffin University with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Human Resources. She obtained her Senior Professional in Human Resources credentials (SPHR) from the HR Certification Institute in 2013. She has worked in the HR field for over 20 years in public\, private and non-profit sectors. She is also currently the Director of Human Resources for the City of Bowling Green Ohio\, providing HR resources for 400+/- employees\, both union and non-union civil service.
