Recent data shows more available jobs than available workers. Not surprisingly, the number 1 challenge for most employers is finding good employees to hire. To address the shortfall of available applicants, employers are considering non-traditional candidates such as:
- Convicted felons
- Recovering drug users
- Disabled individuals
- Individuals with little formal education
- Retirees
This presentation will focus on this trend of hiring non-traditional employees and practical, legal and policy considerations for inclusion of these workers in the workforce.
